Welcome to my Professional Portfolio
The purpose of this website is to document my professional development in a consistent manner. More importantly, to offer you, prospective employer, educator, colleagues an avenue to get a glimpse of who I am, what my values, beliefs, philosophies and educational background are. My hope is that this website will offer you a deeper understanding of my professional attributes and how I have arrived where I'm at today.

Background
I completed my first post-secondary endeavor in 2013 where I obtain a certification in Education Assistant at Medicine Hat College. This experience really provided me with the foundation skills to work with students with exceptionalities. The following academic year, I enrolled at Grant MacEwan to further my education in Disability Studies. On June 2014, I completed my diploma in Disability Studies. This experience enhance my previously acquired skills. More importantly, It gave me the skills to advocate for the rights of vulnerable people within society. Furthermore, I developed a keen sense of urgency in change making. This new found passionate for social activism propel me to continue my education at University of Calgary's Community Rehabilitation and Disability Studies Degree program. Over the past couple of years in this program, I have develop awareness of structures and systems that perpetuate inequalities in society and I aim to challenge them.
